Summer Sunday School
Sunday School continues to be available for all ages this summer. Children, ages 0 – 4 meet in the Nursery with Carrie Litty, Aaron Cravens, and helpers. Kindergarten and Elementary age children meet in the 3-4 grade classroom with Kim and Shawn Lathrop. The Junior and Senior High classes are combined for the summer and meet in the Senior High room, while the Promise Seekers and the Adult Bible Study Class are exploring a video archeological series on Israel and its message for us today.
Revelation Generation 2010
September 4-5
Join us for a fun packed day of music, food, games, and entertainment for the entire family on September 4-5 at Revelation Generation 2010. The cost is $50.00. We may try to go as a group, so if you are interested in attending, sign up sheets are available at the front and back entrances to the church. MOMS Club of Blackwood
Begins, September 1
MOMS Club of Blackwood is a chapter of the International MOMS Club, a support group for the at-home mother of today. MOMS Club members are able to connect with other moms and share support and friendship, while their children play together and participate in a wide variety of activities. It is a support group that understands the special needs of at-home mothers, whether you are home full or part time, or work from home. The MOMS Club gives mothers the opportunity to be involved in activities with their children during the day, when they need support the most. MOMS Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month (September through June) at 9:45 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. For more information, visit www.momsclub.southjersey.com.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
Begins, September 2
If you are a mother of a preschool child, consider joining MOPS of St. Paul’s. MOPS is an international mission group designed to nurture mothers of young children. Our meetings include refreshments, devotions, guest speakers, fellowship and crafts. MOPS is open to all mothers with children ages birth through kindergarten. Childcare is provided during the meetings. We meet in Fellowship Hall from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays of the month beginning on September 2. Sunday School Move-Up/Rally Day
Sunday, September 12
Sunday, September 12, is the start of our new Sunday School year. Everyone is invited to our celebration at 9:45 a.m. in the sanctuary! We will start out with some great worship music, present awards, and just have fun before moving up the students to their next grade level. All students, children, and adults are encouraged to participate. Following the program in the sanctuary, proceed to your classroom for refreshments. Parents are invited to join their children in the classrooms for an opportunity to meet their child’s Sunday School teacher and to share in refreshments.
